Prepare to be… a-Mused!

Welcome… to the world of… A Nonny Mouse!

Yes, you read that correctly.  “A Nonny Mouse” is my name, and that comes from a play on the word “anonymous” because I love to not be known.  I am a big fan of that verse that says “don’t let your right hand know what your left hand is doing.” Meaning, secretive is best.  And so I wander through the world of media arts, and see what I can see, and find what I can find, and bring it back here to my little world.

However… just because I’m a mouse, don’t think that I’m always going to be quiet!  Hehe…

After having done a little bit of research, I have found that the definition of the prefix “a-” means “without, not” and the definition of “muse” is “to think or meditate in silence” plus a bunch of other definitions that I don’t want to get into right now.  BUT…if you put the two together, then you have “to not think or meditate in silence” which means I’m going to be doing a lot of “out loud” talking on this here blog site.

This site is going to be a lot of fun discussion of my discoveries in the world of media arts.  I have recently been introduced to the idea that I am a writer, and I am pursuing it with very hot interest.  But other than that, I hope to also delve into “other parts of the media arts” (and yes, I do slip into poetry once in a while!).  The sum and substance of all you find here will be what I have discovered, and what I have learned enough about to hopefully report on with some sizable degree of knowledge and a good bit of clarity.

So feel free to poke around and see what you can come up with.  Soon you will find lots of links to other sites: artists, writers, animators, and the like.  Some I know personally, others I only know of but hope to one day actually know, and others that I will only dream of knowing.  And maybe, just maybe, I can get some of them to comment on here about how they do what they do, what they like about it, and how life is where they are (in terms of career, of course).

Glad you stopped by!  Please come back soon, and prop your feet up, and chat with me.  As my dad, aka The Journalist, used to say, “Tell me tales of your vivid life.”
